A brooch in the shape of a dachshund, made in Valenze, Italy, by Garavelli in the 1960s.

The dachshund is made of 18-carat gold, and has a deck made of turquoise enamel. The eyes, nose and collar are set with rubies.

Hallmarked 237 AL, the Italian registration number of the Garavelli company from 1947 onwards.
