The year 2020 is a very special one for us. It is the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of the firm that bears our father’s name.

In 1970 our father, Abraham Aardewerk, together with our mother, opened their own showrooms at 76 Jan van Nassaustraat in The Hague. In the decades that followed they established the name of Aardewerk in the antiques world and in the field of Netherlandish silver in particular. We shall be reflecting on this anniversary during the year. The superb and exceptional pieces on this website are all worthy of our golden jubilee. They are objects that will awaken the collecting passion and enhance any interior, adding beauty and distinction to the home.
